Playable races in Middle Earth
Up to Ea d20 3.x Magic in Middle-earth
Breaking it down to core fundementals, what would be the expected playable races in a 'core version' of ME D20?
I propose:
Human, with skill bonuses changed due to their location/environment
Woodman
Gondorian
Rohirrim
Easterling
High Man
Dunedain with some mystical bonuses, not unlike the Drow to differentiate from normal humans
Dwarf
Mountain standard
Elf
Teleri, Woodelves
Sindarin, Gray elves
Noldor, High elves
Half Elf I would make this a generic race, encompassing all combinations, for brevity's sake
Hobbit/Halfling
I would throw everything else out and concentrate on the ones people would mostly like to play. I would leave all the miriad of other races to expansion/companion books. This would make the conversion digestible.
